This video shows how simple it is to replace a serial cable with our 990.002 and 990.006 boards and a couple of XBee modules.
Just plug the 990.002 XBee USB board to a USB port of the PC and connect the 990.006 XBee DTE Serial Board directly to the SSC-32 servo controller. No settings required other than the serial port speed on the XBee modules.
